What is the difference between men fashion in the 60's and the 70's?
I'm doing a project where I put together looks that fit difference decades. I'm pretty set on what the girl's will wear. 60s- a mod, short shift dress and boots; 70s- bell bottoms, boots, etc. But I just don't know what to do for the men for these decades. They're teenagers so I don't want them to wear clothes too old. Just something that you might see at a high school during these times.
It's depends on whether you're focusing on the early-mid-or latter parts of these decades. Also a HUGE difference (in a nutshell) was whether someone's family was Republican (WASPy) or Democrat (Hippie). Of course, these are very broad stereotypes but it helps to categorize fashions. Of course, as teens, the dudes in these times likely rebelled against whatever their parents wore (especially in the late 60s).
